recross does not access your location via GPS like traditional friendship and dating apps, but communicates with your surroundings via Bluetooth. When you cross paths with another user, the connection is displayed in the app. To protect your privacy, you can use various filters to decide exactly in which mode you want to be displayed and to whom.

To find connections, recross needs access to your Bluetooth and your location. To enable the app to search for new connections in the background, we also need access to your location in the background. If you want to receive real-time connections or messages, we would also be happy to send you notifications.

Your data belongs to you, so your data protection and privacy is our highest priority. In our Privacy Policy you can learn more about what data we collect and how we process them.

The Feed shows you what’s going on in your area. Create your own posts to show people what’s going on in your city. By clicking on the post you can also see the location of the recording, so you can go there yourself.

Theoretically, any user can see your created posts in the Feed, even if you haven’t met yet.

Yes, you can delete your self-created posts at any time. You also have the option to set a time limit for your post when you create it.

We do our best to keep the Feed free of offensive posts. If we do not succeed in doing so, we would be very happy if you report a post. Of course you can also report users to us.
